Sometimes the image I want to express can’t really be found on this planet,
so I fabricate a little. Or even pick up a brush or knife or pixel or pen and create it from scratch. I love both the realism of photography and
the illusion that because it is a photograph it is in this reality...
even if it isn’t.
The giggles on a dog’s body as she plays, the closeness of a mother and her child, bending near to really see that flower, describing the
experience—noticing my world and interpreting it for you
satisfies my need to express the creator within.
Today, perhaps I can show you a bit of my world the way I see it...
and communicate to you a bit of who I am. Perhaps you’ll take
something home to remind you just how wonderful some things are.
